• Develop and implement supply chain control systems.
• Coordinate their activities with other departments to meet plant production and shipment schedules.
• Plan, direct and coordinate materials logistics activities to meet production requirements, ensuring quality, quantity, time and cost.
• Manage inventories, control raw material and finished product warehouses.
• Track production orders and establish daily working relationships with the purchasing department to streamline material delivery.
• Establish close communication with the departments involved, especially production and process engineering, to maintain adequate inventories.
