Production Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for manufacturing excellence? Hynds is looking for a skilled Production Engineer to join our Christchurch team and play a lead technical role in our precast concrete production operation.

About The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be the go‑to technical expert on site — supporting production teams to manufacture precast products safely, accurately, and to specification. A key focus of this role is leading the manufacture of M‑Specials (custom precast items), from mould design and reinforcement through to quality sign‑off and despatch.

You'll work closely with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and sales teams, and occasionally liaise directly with customers and their technical representatives.
