Production Manager

Overview

The Production Manager ensures that a culture of accountability is established and maintained. To plan, organize and empower the production team to deliver their works safely, efficiently, on time, within budget and to the Austal standard.

Responsibilities

• Establish a self-sustaining shipyard
• Develop a professional and competent team of shipbuilders in line with the shipyard development and project requirements.
• Ensures an ongoing commitment to Leadership Development.
• Promotes a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the Production department.
• Ensure that production risks are being tracked and mitigated as effectively as possible.
• Ensures that resources required for projects are made available.
