Job Description

Daily Operational Control


  • Own shift-by-shift performance against OTD and OAE targets.

  • Align cross-functionally (Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality) to remove constraints immediately.

  • Enforce production standards and ensure adherence to standard work.

  • Control labour deployment and overtime spend.

  • Ensure material, tooling, and machine readiness before shift starts.

  • Escalate and resolve bottlenecks immediately.

  • Own production risk mitigation and drive recovery plans when targets are missed.

    • Performance & Discipline

  • Lead daily tier meetings with clear actions and ownership.

  • Hold supervisors accountable for safety, output, and quality.

  • Reduce scraps, rework, and unplanned downtime.

  • Challenge underperformance directly and constructively.
