PRODUCTION SCHEDULE IS MONDAY - THURSDAY (10HR SHIFTS)

Position Summary:

General Laborer performs a variety of manual or machine-assisted tasks with duties involved in the processing of meat (i.e., turkey) products ready for shipment.
The position requires initiative, willingness to learn all processes and to follow strict hygiene and health and safety regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

Handle raw meat.
Slit open, eviscerate, and trim carcasses.

Cut, trim, sort, remove specific meat sections.
Remove bones and cut meat into standard cuts.

Tend assemble lines to perform cuts.
Orient meat products on conveyor belts.
Pack raw meat product into carton.

Apply labels onto product cartons.
Maintain clean work area and pick up meat debris
. Promote a safe work environment
Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety requirement.
