Job Description
Napoleon is a Canadian company operating worldwide, seeking a Production Planner for a 12‑month contract at 24 Napoleon Road, Barrie (hybrid). The role reports to the Production Control Manager.
Responsibilities
- Firm and release work orders, performing material availability checks
- Review early/late reports to ensure all open work orders are accurate and current
- Monitor capacity requirements
- Communicate daily with Sales, Production Planners, Senior Planners, Team Leaders, Supervisors, Manufacturing Managers and Purchasing regarding parts issues and priorities
- Request overtime, part production transfers to other facilities or outsourcing as needed to manage bottlenecks
- Maintain planning information in ERP system
- Maintain resource calendars in ERP system
