Production Planner

CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Production Planner in Newton Abbot, TQ12.

Duties:

• Developing a robust production schedule, ensuring customer demand is met, whilst considering production optimization
• Ensuring labour requirements are met and shortages are communicated where required.
• Evaluating raw material and all other bill of material requirements to ensure everything is in place to meet production requirements.
• Tracking and reporting the progress of goods as they are being manufactured to ensure they remain on schedule. Liaising with all departments and communicating any issues that may arise.
• Evaluate production and supplier performance, recommend improvement to any areas which are directly impacting the planning process/performance
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust production schedules as needed, ensuring schedules are such as to ensure production optimization
