Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate, supervise and schedule the activities of production staff and ensure operational efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production requirements are achieved while meeting quality, yield, efficiency and food/employee safety standards.
• Effectively motivate and direct employees by facilitating/mentoring continuous improvement.
• Review production schedule for manpower and staffing requirements.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Prepare production reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform/organize employee job training and team meetings to ensure efficient and safe task performance.
• Understand and follow all aspects of the Collective Agreement and deal with grievances at the primary stage.
• Request and control materials and supplies.
