Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Youth Homes Team and youth to provide guidance and support to improve the youth's quality of life.
- Develop and provide programming in life skills and cultural practices.
- Maintain a clean and secure facility and aid the public and residents when necessary.
- Develop programming specifically geared to young mothers with babies, life skills, and cultural practices.
- Assist in developing case plans for youth residents.
- Provide support, referrals, and advocacy for the clients.
- Liaise with the Ministry of Social Services.
- Be available for an online call rotation.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education and/or previous experience working with youth.
- Early childhood development education or experience.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about cultural traditions, teachings and knowledge.
