The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Program Engineer to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations. The position will be based in Greater Sudbury (Falconbridge), Ontario.

This is a full-time, permanent, staff position. This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy. Work location is not accessible by public transportation.

Duties and Accountabilities

Reporting to Superintendent Smelter and Mill Engineering, the Program Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to optimize assigned smelter processes, ensuring accurate production accounting, recommending process control strategies to achieve forecasted production targets, and planning, implementing, and evaluating process changes in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
