Project Engineer

Project Engineer – Industrial Automation Projects with ABB.

Reports to: Project Management Office Manager.

Overview

Join ABB as a Project Engineer and serve as the design authority for engineering deliverables on software-focused industrial engineering projects. You will support the full project lifecycle, including system design, development, validation, installation, diagnostics, remote support, migrations, and upgrades, contributing to projects of all sizes within larger programs.

Responsibilities

• Work model: hybrid based in Grafton, Auckland, New Zealand, with occasional site visits across the following regions: Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Wellington, Nelson, Otago, Canterbury.
• Designing and implementing DCS/PLC control systems—concept development, configuration, validation, installation, and commissioning according to ABB standards.
