Project Engineering Manager, Mining (Ottawa)

Responsibilities

Work in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Stantec and its Clients. Ensure all applicable safety codes, regulations and guidelines are met by appropriate design and use of technology. Review and analysis of drawings for possible safety and constructability problems prior to issue to clients. Provide clients with engineering support to meet their needs and incorporate client suggestions for future requirements in a timely, efficient, and cost‑effective manner. Act as the key link between the technical execution team and project management team on projects. Manage and direct a team of engineers and designers in the planning and execution of project work including scoping, asset integrity assessments, feasibility studies, detailed engineering and technical support during construction and commissioning.
