Project Manager, Design and Construction

Overview

Reporting to the Director, Project Management, the Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects and works, operating with a high degree of autonomy to ensure adherence to the Queen's Design Standards, and other applicable Queen's programs and initiatives. The project portfolio may include deferred maintenance, departmental priorities, grant-funded initiatives, emergency projects, and other capital and renewal work supporting Queen's University Facilities. This position is the project lead for moderately-complex renovation and construction projects. This position is involved with the project from open to close including defining project milestones, design, construction, budget adherence, quality, and closeout. This position identifies any challenges that could impact the final deliverables, and actions changes to meet project outcomes.
