Join the Kitikmeot Inuit Association as a Career Services Project Officer in Cambridge Bay. This indeterminate role focuses on delivering training programs and career services for Kitikmeot Inuit.
As part of the Career Services Team, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of Inuit Employment and Training. Your expertise will help guide clients through career counseling, assessments, and workshops while also managing essential client information. This position emphasizes the importance of community relations and effective employment support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct basic career counselling and assessments
• Write resumes and manage client case information
• Facilitate employment readiness workshops
• Maintain an engaging and supportive Career Centre
• Assist in coordinating training and employment projects
Requirements:
• Completed one-year college certificate in relevant field
• Minimum one year of related experience or two years otherwise
