What You Would Do In This Role
The Project Procurement Lead is responsible for planning and performing procurement activities to ensure the timely purchase of materials, services and equipment to meet project requirements. Duties include:Working within a project team environment, potentially on multiple projectsEnforcing timely and cost-effective procurement while adhering to client requirements and proper procurement practicesDeveloping and maintaining status reportsDeveloping procurement plan and strategy documentsReviewing and evaluating standard procurement documents including bid lists, requests for quotation / proposal and commercial bid evaluationsOverseeing the purchase of complex engineered equipment and services as well as electrical, instrumentation, structural steel and piping commodity materialsOverseeing the negotiation of commercial terms including but not limited to progress payments and terms and conditionsAttending status meetings with clients, project management a...
