Job Description

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring projects are completed within budget while meeting contractual and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BQ)
  • Conduct tender analysis, evaluation, and contract negotiation
  • Prepare and manage sub‑contractor agreements and payment claims
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
  • Prepare progress claims, valuations, and final accounts
  • Assess and certify subcontractor and supplier claims
  • Handle variation orders, extensions of time, and cost impacts
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, MOM, BCA, and statutory requirements
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and site teams
