General Summary
Performs all electrical and mechanical assembly.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Prepares, loads and solders printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Soldering and rework of integrated circuits and CCAs, including jumpers if necessary.
Knowledge and skill in the use of the hot air rework station.
Fabricates wire harnesses and various cable assemblies.
Mechanical assembly of panels, test boxes and chassis.
Assembles and cables modules and racks.
Wire wrapping and assembly of prototype boards.
Performs special tasks.
Principal contact is with engineers and engineering technicians, planners and stockroom personnel.
Job Requirements
HS diploma and basic electronic training, or experience in an engineering environment.
