Reporting to the Manager, Mental Health Services, the Dual Diagnosis – Psychological Associate provides specialized psychological assessment, diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and consultation for individuals with a developmental disability and mental illness. This position integrates advanced psychological assessment and diagnostic expertise with collaborative, system based clinical practice. The role supports individuals with complex cognitive, adaptive, emotional, behavioural, and psychiatric needs and works closely with families, caregivers, Developmental Services (DS), community mental health partners, inpatient services, and other ministry funded systems.
