Psychologist I (Youth Community Support Program)
Reporting to the Manager of the Youth Community Support Program (YCSP) within the Child and Adolescent Addiction and Mental Health and Psychiatry Program (CAAMHPP), the Psychologist I provides consulting and assessment services to youth ages 13-17 years. The position primarily involves testing and assessment, including selection and application of assessment methods based on clinical psychological evidence. It requires assessing risk, ensuring safety, and communicating clear diagnoses, findings, plans, and recommendations to the team, families, and service providers.
Other responsibilities include: case conferences, therapeutic groups, staff meetings, professional development activities, student supervision, program planning, liaising with AHS and community partners, and other related duties.
