Job Description

A procurement associate supports an organization's purchasing operations by processing requisitions and purchase orders, managing vendor relationships, maintaining records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

  • Process requisitions, create and track purchase orders, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, source, and develop relationships with new and existing suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Collect and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities, prepare reports, and support business reviews.
  • Facilitate communication with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contract terms and pricing, and manage vendor onboarding.
  • Verify deliveries, manage inventory levels, and coordinate shipping and logistics for procured items.
