Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections and surveillance of Electrical and Instrumentation works in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Inspect installation of cable trays, conduits, cables, LV/MV Control FO, lighting, earthing, panels, junction boxes, instruments, impulse tubing, and field devices.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and vendor data.
- Ensure installation activities meet applicable standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BS and project specifications.
- Verify proper identification, tagging and labeling of cables, equipment and instruments.
- Witness and verify continuity, insulation resistance (IR) megger testing, HV/LV cable testing, loop checking and functional testing.
- Witness FAT, SAT, calibration and pre‑commissioning activities as applicable.
- Ensure use of approved and calibrated test equipment.
