Requirements
- Electrical Trade Certificate (Red Seal)
- National Certificate N3 (Electrical) or higher
- Valid driver's licence
- Minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience
- Solar PV must be the primary area of expertise and work experience
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and safety standards
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required
- Perform Solar PV installations, maintenance, and commissioning activities
- Install and commission inverters, battery storage systems, and PV arrays
- Conduct DC and AC electrical installations and fault-finding
- Complete cable routing, terminations, earthing, and protection system installations
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
