Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Opportunity

The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) operates within the DNWP framework delivering critical decommissioning work at Sellafield, including the UK’s most challenging Legacy Ponds facilities. TDA is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the ongoing safe and efficient delivery of projects across the Sellafield site. The role serves as the TDA stakeholder interface for the Retrievals East River Project and ensures quality assurance activities are effectively carried out.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review and endorse Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans; undertake associated compliance verification activities.
• Liaise with Quality Control and ICG to verify processes and documentation (ITPs, weld procedures, etc.).
• Ensure the quality standards of the TDA Project are consistently met; raise authorised project documentation where standards are not satisfied.
