Quality Assurance Specialist

Purpose

To provide support and help manage risk to the organization in the areas of quality management, life science product safety management, and responsible distribution, while also providing commercial support as required by the business.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. There are no direct reports to this position.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage risk considering quality and product safety legal and company requirements, industry best practices, management system requirements, and the Responsible Distribution Canada’s Responsible Distribution® Code of Practice
• Evaluate new products and vendors from the point of view of quality and product safety
• Address customer inquiries related to quality management and product safety management in the form of standard documentation, questionnaires, and other documentation such as notifications of change
