Job Description

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • To support the mechanical engineering department in the document review of manufacturing drawings, inspection plans, workshop monitoring of production, and reports.
  • Arrange visits to workshops and ensure the availability of components for manufacturing.
  • Follow up manufacturing activities progress with the team and report project time performance
  • Handling of 2D software and manufacturing drawings
  • Assure that the equipment manufactured in the workshop is in accordance with the design drawings
  • Ensure the correct installation of components and equipment
  • Management of mechanical contractor in preassembly and assist the on-site mechanical supervisor when required
  • To identify and report deviations and risks in project execution
  • Ensure compliance and development of the HSEQ requirements of GEA
  • Estimate and plan pre-assembly hours
