Job Description
Eclipse Automation seeks a Welding Inspector dedicated to quality assurance in Cambridge, ON. This full-time, on-site role focuses on inspection and continuous improvement.
As a member of the quality assurance team, you will verify that all welding processes meet specified requirements and standards. Engagement in collaborative projects with engineers and other stakeholders will be critical for resolving welding issues and implementing improved procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential in this supportive role within a nuclear technology center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with CSA, AWS standards through inspections
• Conduct fit-up and final inspections of welded components
• Collaborate on developing and reviewing welding procedures
• Maintain detailed records of all welding activities
• Assist in troubleshooting welding non-conformances
Requirements:
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Valid CSA W178.2 cert...
