Job Description
- Inspect and test: Examine raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using visual checks, measurements, and specialized equipment to identify defects or deviations from standards.
- Monitor processes: Oversee production and operational processes to ensure they are functioning correctly and consistently meet quality specifications.
- Document and report: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and defects, reporting findings to senior staff or other relevant teams.
- Implement solutions: Recommend and sometimes implement corrective actions to address identified quality problems and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain standards: Ensure compliance with quality control policies, safety standards, and relevant industry regulations.
- Collaborate: Work closely with production teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and achieve production targets.
