Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician selects products and prepares samples at defined stages of the production process, then performs tests to verify that each item meets required quality standards. This role sets up and conducts both destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, and finished products to measure performance, durability, and mechanical or chemical characteristics. Time on shift rotates between lab desk work, hands-on testing, and work on the production floor, ensuring continuous quality oversight across all stages.

Responsibilities

• Select products and prepare samples for testing at specified stages of the production process according to established procedures.
• Test products for a variety of qualities, including dimensions, performance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics, following required standards.
