Quality Engineer

Metrican is a Tier 2 metal stamping facility supporting the automotive industry.

WHAT DOES THE JOB INVOLVE?

Primary functions of the Quality Engineers are to manage all internal and external quality issues, participate in all APQP activities, support all PPAP preparations and submissions, and perform audits as required.

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Respond to and address all customer concerns associated with assigned programs
• Update and maintain CAR log
• Review customer Corrective Actions and submit to the customer
• Implement and monitor containment actions for all customer related issues
• Build a rapport with the customers to better understand quality needs - on occasion customer visits...
