Responsibilities

• You will visually inspect parts to ensure they are correct to the customer's drawing and identify any anomalies
• You will be responsible for inspecting critical and sensitive aerospace parts
• You must understand the inspection priorities within the department to meet production requirements and targets
• You will ensure the paperwork is correct, confirming the customer drawing and the drawing issue status is correct
• Ensure process documents (OIS) are to the correct issue and the contract review has been carried out correctly
• You will review the areas to be coated and calculate the thickness required using the Process Document (PD) and customer drawing
• Check completed parts to customer drawing, job router and PD requirements
• When required, raise NCRs (non-conformance reports), inform appropriate depart...
