Oldham is looking for an Inspector to support operations related to the receipt, storage, preparation and packaging of parts. The ideal candidate must be meticulous in inspecting parts, checking for conformity and correcting defects where necessary. He or she must also be able to maintain an up‑to‑date inventory to ensure stock accuracy. The position involves handling, moving, loading and unloading steel using material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the various tasks involved in receiving and shipping materials. Inspect, correct and classify incoming parts.
- Report missing or damaged merchandise.
- Validate receipt of material delivered by truck using a checklist and a receipt form.
