Job Description

A Quantity Surveyor estimates and monitors the costs of construction and maintenance of building and infrastructure. They are usually involved from the feasibility stage through to completion of a construction project. Quantity Surveyors can also undertake tax depreciation, insurance estimation, mediation, and arbitration. QS is responsible for establishing project management procedures to achieve project goals and objectives by adhering clients' specifications and requirements within the financial constraints and schedule. In this role, QS shall report directly to the Project Manager about the actual project issues, help ensure the project plan and cost meet the objectives of the contract proposal, and ensure operations conform to the ground plan.
