Pre-Construction Stage
Assists in preparing the key commercial control documents such as the Procurement Schedule, Cashflow Forecast and Margin Improvement Strategy to ensure the project is well planned. Sending enquires to the market for the assigned packages Analysing subcontractor and supplier tender returns. Flag any risks such as discrepancies in the tender documents to the lead estimator. Prepare/compare material quantity take offs and bills of quantities according to the specifications & drawings submitted by the client. Work with estimating team as required. Gain understanding of commercial strategy for the project, set by Commercial Director. Post-Contract
Assist in change management, inclusive of the valuation of variations, quoting Request for Proposal (RFP)'s, issuing the respective notices, up and downstream, all within the timelines of the main contract.
