About the role
As Ranger in Charge, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the TriabunnaMaria Island Field Centre.
Manage, develop, and mentor a small, skilled team responsible for a diverse network of reserves across the region.
Play a key role in progressing the regional business plan and achieving strategic priorities.
Support projects that protect threatened species and cultural heritage assets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and the local community.
Mange field centre budget, expenditure, and resources.
The role covers reserves stretching from Swansea to Marion Bay and Whitefoord to Nugent, including Maria Island National Park and the Darlington Convict World Heritage Area. You will oversee the management of coastal, offshore island, forested and marine reserves rich in natural and cultural values.
