Start Date: 1st September 2026 | Until 21st July 2027 (Potential to Extend)
We are currently seeking a patient, resilient, and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the Stechford area of Birmingham. This is a full-time role starting in September 2026 and running until July 2027, with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Reception-aged pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The child requires a consistent, nurturing adult who can support their learning, communication, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.
Due to the child's needs, the role will require a proactive and vigilant approach. The pupil can display impulsive behaviours, including running around the classroom and school environment and climbing on furniture, so the successful candidate must ...
