About the Role
STAR EIP is an early-stage, mission-driven organization dedicated to delivering healthy, fresh meals to families in need. You'll join the team early and help shape how we make sure the food reaching our families is nutritious, appropriate, and genuinely meets each family's needs.
What You'll Do
- Review the meals being prepared and delivered to families to ensure they meet nutritional standards and each family's dietary needs.
- Partner closely with our kitchen team to plan and adjust menus, portion sizes, and ingredients so the meals we provide support family health.
- Meet with families when needed to review their menu, understand dietary restrictions, allergies, cultural food preferences, and health conditions, and tailor meals accordingly.
