Become a key player in patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse in the Gynecological Procedure Clinic at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Your role focuses on patient support during non-invasive procedures and education.
Being a Registered Practical Nurse involves providing hands-on care for patients undergoing non-invasive treatments such as hysteroscopy and chorionic villus sampling. You will leverage your knowledge gained from an Operating Room certificate and Clinical Skills to effectively support patients and work within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient assessments pre-and post-procedures
• Assist medical staff during gynecological interventions
• Provide relevant educational resources to patients
• Work alongside a collaborative healthcare team
• Advocate for principles of Person-Centred Care
