- Work directly with Reliability Engineers on active mining operations
- Build hands‑on experience with Caterpillar heavy equipment
- Apply classroom knowledge to real‑world engineering challenges
- Develop your skills in data analysis, diagnostics, and performance optimization
- Gain exposure to industry‑leading tools, systems, and technical training
What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and Assembly of 7495 Mining Shovel (90%)
- Assemble drawing/job packages for trades (Mechanics, Welders and Electricians)
- Perform site safety inspections
- Monitor project consumables and aid in ordering
- Create daily progress reports
- Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control checks and documentation
