Relief Accountant

Summary: We are looking for a part-time, detail-oriented Relief Accountant to support our accounting team at

Destination Centre Brandon.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Reconciliation of daily accounting records while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
• Counting cash and preparing deposits. Counting, tracking, and analysis of property-wide inventory.
• Coding payable invoices and collection of accounts receivable.
• Preparing reports for management of the property Employee payroll and administration of the employee files.
• Compilation of daily revenue and payroll reports for the hotel and corporate management team.
• Count and reconcile Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) revenues in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
