Overview

The Wetland Carbon Lab at NTU’s Asian School of the Environment focuses on understanding the role of aquatic ecosystems, including mangrove peatlands and streams, as nature-based solutions. The lab integrates field-based experiments, high-frequency sensor networks, stable isotope approaches, and modelling to study water, carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus fluxes and greenhouse gas emissions across watersheds.

We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and adventurous Research Assistant to participate in watershed-scale biogeochemistry monitoring and research across Singapore’s urban-to-nature stream networks. This role supports NTU’s mission to advance solution-oriented environmental research and contributes to sustainable urban planning, water quality management, climate mitigation and adaptation strategies.
