Research Fellow (Materials Chemistry; Catalysis)

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

• Conduct literature review related to materials development, membrane technology, electrodialysis, AI‑assisted analysis, and simulation studies.
• Design, synthesize, fabricate, and characterize functional materials and membranes.
• Perform separation experiments and evaluate membrane performance.
• Carry out data analysis, AI‑assisted analysis, modelling, and/or simulation studies.
• Draft reports and scientific publications.
• Train graduate and undergraduate students.
• Administrative duties such as purchase of chemicals and consumables, coordination of collaborations, and presentations of research progress.
• Obtain quotations to purchase chemicals, consumables, and equipment accessories that cost <$6k.
