Job Description
To act as the Engineer’s on-site representative for the supervision of upper works of dam and hydropower projects, ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, in compliance with HSE requirements, technical specifications, approved designs, and contractual obligations, while maintaining high standards of quality, progress, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Implement project HSE strategy for upper works construction
- Integrate HSE requirements into construction methodologies
- Identify and mitigate site‑specific HSE risks
- Coordinate with HSE officers and contractors
- Supervise upper works construction activities
- Monitor contractor compliance with HSE and QA/QC
- Ensure compliance with dam safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits
