Residential Electrician

The successful candidate will have the following skills -

The ability to perform a variety of installation, troubleshooting and repair tasks on electrical systems. The duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the scope of the project, but they often include:

• Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams
• Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools
• Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices
• Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes and businesses
• Adhering to state and local building regulations while completing work orders on time
• Documenting the work completed and materials used
• Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects and other team members
