We now have a vacancy for a part time Catering Assistant based at Rochdale Infirmary.

Main purpose of the job is to provide the best possible service and experience for patients, visitors and staff using the Staff Retail areas.

Typical duties will include simple preparation of food items, food service, cleaning, quality control, waste and cash handling.

Main duties of the job

• Being dynamic serving customers in a fast paced Barista style coffee shop.
• Preparing the counter for service.
• Accurately take food orders over the counter or on the telephone.
• Cash Handling, taking card payments and keeping accurate accounts of money transactions.
• Simple Food preparation such as salads and sandwiches.
• Preparing orders for Paninis, pizza and other hot snacks.
