Job Summary
The Rooms Controller will work in partnership with Front Office, Revenue Management and other operational departments with a focus on managing the hotel's room inventory to maximize both revenue and quality service levels for guests.
Job Duties & Functions
- Complete daily checklist, which includes running and checking various reports and preparing for the upcoming day's arrivals, departures, room assignments, balancing inventory and interfaces, show rooms, routings, specific room packages.
- Check every single reservation and assign rooms according to guest request, room category booked, connecting rooms, as per VIP/Rewards membership status and preferences whenever possible. Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets.
