Responsibilities
Preparing high quality technical documents which receive a high level of scrutiny. Acting as a technical reviewer for safety analysis documents. Following the program and associated CNSC regulations in preparing the documentation. Providing guidance to Facility Authority/Projects with regards to safety and licensing requirements. Reviewing technical drawings/documents with a focus on impact to safety. Preparing documentation to support projects/changes including planning, safety analysis and guidance. Ensuring documents prepared are in compliance with the program. Supporting developing program documentation through document preparation, self‑assessments, etc. Being involved with REGDOC, CSA, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), ICRP and other agency updates that involve safety analysis. Engaging with projects/facilities to identify hazards. Leading hazard analysis meetings and documenting the outcomes. Using various tools to estimate the potential doses ...
