Job Description

COI is looking for a Safety Management Coordinator to enhance compliance and safety culture in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario. Drive improvements and support a strong safety system.
As a key member of the health and safety team, you will oversee adherence to OHS legislation and manage COR certification processes. This role involves collaborating with operational leaders and conducting site visits to ensure safety practices are effectively implemented. You’ll also engage in training delivery and incident analysis for comprehensive safety oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage COR-aligned Safety Management System implementation
• Ensure compliance with provincial occupational health and safety laws
• Conduct safety training and support JHSCs
• Manage incident reporting and corrective actions
• Provide coaching to supervisors and personnel
Requirements:
• 5+ years of health and safety experience preferred
