Safety Officer (O&G / Petrochemical)
Job Purpose
Provide occupational safety planning, technical expertise, and regulatory guidance to ensure effective safety program execution and continuous improvement in plant safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Safety & Risk Management
- Support safe planning and execution of plant activities to maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Review and validate risk assessments for all plant operations
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Conduct hazard identification, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and PPE assessments
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI
