Purpose:
The Driver Trainer is responsible for delivering accredited theoretical and practical driver training programmes that promote safe driving behavior, reduce workplace transport-related risk, and improve driver competence. The role ensures learners are supported throughout the training and assessment process while maintaining full compliance with SAQA, SETA, QCTO, and internal quality management system requirements.



Responsibilities:

• Facilitate theoretical and practical driver training across relevant vehicle categories


• Adapt training methodologies to suit learner experience, language proficiency, and learning styles


• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments and compile Portfolios of Evidence (POEs)


• Ensure compliance with SAQA, SETA, QCTO and internal quality standards


• Maintain and correctly use training vehicles and equipment
