Responsibilities

  • A Sales Representative is responsible for selling products or services to customers, managing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. They work directly with customers, negotiate sales, and often oversee customer accounts from initial contact through to post-sale support.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, or online research.
  • Qualify leads to ensure potential customers are a good fit for the products or services being offered.
  • Maintain and expand a portfolio of accounts and clients.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred by some employers).
  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written) to effectively present products or services.
  • Negotiation Skills to close deals and manage client relationships.
